Our latest event @consoleya downtown Cairo, a French consulate, is hosting a night of decolonial fashion activation, and a beautiful array of Egyptian designers. We hosted our first collective activation and gathering at the home, the origin of the Egyptian art scene and the beginning of the new generation’s stance in fashion and art. downtown a place of revolution, resistance, and colonial power. a place of the elite, the everyday man, the movements of old, the multicultural hub for Cairo, now hosts the new downtowners, as I call them. Our generation and those to come have thrived in a space taken over by Alismailia group; they have bridged the gap and allowed Egyptianess to flourish. Watch this space for in-depth recordings too!
